Saka Energy Consulting was established to provide focused engineering expertise to businesses and developers navigating the rapidly evolving energy-storage market.

Saka Energy Consulting ApS is a specialist consultancy, not a large corporation. The company combines electrical engineering, renewable-energy knowledge, power-system analysis and practical BESS experience to provide independent engineering analysis to developers, investors and project teams.

That focused expertise is the point: clients work directly with the engineer doing the analysis, and every project benefits from both practical experience with real battery energy storage systems and a solid academic foundation in electrical and wind-energy engineering.

Engineering Experience in BESS and Renewable Energy

Our work combines practical engineering experience with advanced academic knowledge in electrical and wind-energy engineering. On the practical side, this includes hands-on involvement in BESS prototype development: defining the BESS system architecture, working with electrical diagrams, and integrating batteries, converters and controllers into a functioning system. That work covered energy meters, PLC and control systems, Modbus and TCP-IP communications, bidirectional power conversion and peak-saving and energy-storage applications.

On the analytical side, it includes power-system analysis and renewable-energy integration, with a particular focus on wind energy, green hydrogen integration and energy-management strategies. This combination is what allows us to look at a BESS project from both the hardware that has to work in the field and the energy system it has to operate in.

Engineering & Analytical Tools

Our analyses are supported by established engineering and analytical tools, including DIgSILENT PowerFactory for power-system modelling, MATLAB/Simulink and Python for energy-system and techno-economic modelling, and Excel for transparent cash-flow and data analysis. The tools support the work; the value lies in the engineering judgement and analysis behind them.

The founder holds advanced engineering education in electrical engineering and wind energy engineering, with academic work focused on power systems, wind integration, electricity markets, high-voltage (HV) engineering, HVDC, energy systems, renewable integration, green hydrogen and energy management.

Practical BESS experience

This is complemented by practical BESS experience spanning system architecture, electrical design, prototype development, control systems, communication systems, testing, and translating customer and project requirements into working technical solutions.
